Come on Winter!

The frequent buying and selling of vintage coats that I’ve been doing for the store has me so anxious for coat weather. I know I’ll regret this in January when the daily highs won’t even rise above the twenties but…speaking of the twenties… I’ve got something special to share! This coat is probably the crowning glory of my vintage collection. This type of thing is usually well beyond my means so when I found it hanging in my local antique store for a very reasonable price I was nothing short of flabbergasted. The last two pics are of the carved shell buttons and the silk lining. Unlike some of my other older vintage pieces I intend to wear this one every chance I get!
